class=\"mjbar-en\" dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\n<h3>Job Summary<\/h3><p>The Clinical Applications Specialist at Alcon supports hospitals and clinics in the Middle East by training healthcare professionals and ensuring the safe and effective use of Alcon\u2019s ophthalmology products.<\/p><h3>Responsibilities<\/h3><ul><li>Deliver technical and clinical training and ongoing support to surgeons and operating room staff on Alcon\u2019s Cataract and Refractive Surgical Device products.<\/li><li>Provide accurate scientific and technical responses to customer inquiries regarding approved uses of Alcon devices, referring unapproved use questions according to protocol.<\/li><li>Support implementation of equipment and software upgrades, new installations, and troubleshooting in cooperation with Field Service Engineers.<\/li><li>Accurately document site visits using standardized tools and report adverse events and device deficiencies to Medical Safety following company procedures.<\/li><li>Work with Clinical Applications management and Medical Safety on root cause analysis of adverse events and provide physician feedback when requested.<\/li><li>Respond to unsolicited device-related information requests in line with SOPs and compliance guidelines.<\/li><li>Participate in medical congresses, fellowships, conferences, exhibits, seminars, and wet-labs; assist with product demonstrations and maintain clinical certifications.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Requirements<\/h3><ul><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree required; advanced education in healthcare-related fields is advantageous.<\/li><li>At least 5 years of relevant experience in clinical or medical device environments.<\/li><li>Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.<\/li><li>Strong clinical background in ophthalmology with a commitment to continuous learning.<\/li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive and positive approach to collaboration and challenges.<\/li><li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally to support training and business needs.<\/li><\/ul><h3>What the company
